Besides practicing law, The Law Offices of E&Sasseen has been actively involved in the Chinese community activities. Currently, Wei Qun E is the Chief Executive of Chinese Enterprise Association (CEA), a board member of and legal counsel for North America Chinese Semiconductor Association (NACSA). She was also a board member of and legal counsel for Silicon Valley Chinese Engineer Association (SCEA).

In 1996, Wei Qun E was the Chief Negotiator on behalf of Chinese and Chinese American groups representing about 70,000 people who protested against NBC commentator Bob Costas' hostile remarks made during the Atlanta Olympics towards many international athletes, particularly Chinese athletes.
